On the Mobile App and The Future of TheCommunity.ng

TheCommunity.ng was birthed on my bunk bed in my hostel room, B9, when the members of the original TC team where in second year in Benson Idahosa University. It began as a sub folder in the Document Root of an Apache installation on my good friend Ernest's laptop.
Since the early days of it's inception as dcommunity.xyz, we've certainly come a long way. From our lofty dreams and ambitious plans, to the actual reality of starting something, it hasn't always been a joy ride.
While we've no doubt made numerous strides in our quest for development, there is also unquestionably, a long and perhaps, slightly uncertain road to go.
We've seen new features and additions, seen an explosion of users, and had clients that made us question the very essence of our existence. But we've managed to come through this phase. I believe that the decisions and actions we take in the next few days and months will play a large in deciding our future as an establishment.
In light of this, it is imperative that we begin our much talked about expansion and initiate a recruitment drive to ensure that we can continue to be productive even as we scale.
In addition to this, it is of the utmost importance that we continue to foster productive partnerships with other establishments in various fields of endeavour. This reflects exactly what TheCommunity's strength is; The power of the collective; the wisdom of the crowd.
Such partnerships will enable us focus on our biggest strengths, while giving us the means to achieve our goals.
TheCommunity.ng is the service that powers all of our clients and partners projects while also being a service of its own. Case in point, The Connex Affair. As such our mobile should strive to reflect this.
The launch of our mobile application should provide us with a launchpad to reach more partners as well as direct users.
