Love is a Risk!!!!

The greatest risk isn't trusting you with my heart because that i can do. It's in taking your hands and promising to stay when I've doubted the existence of love for as long as i can remember. It's the forced smile on my face when you tell me you love me but it sounds more like a responsibility to me. The greatest risk is trusting myself to stay true to you and committing my feelings to this love you keep on showing. Love is you risking your heart and wearing it on your sleeves while I keep pushing you away. Love is a risk.....You bearing this huge cross when I'm not sure I'll see it through with you to the end.
