A few days ago, after I had resumed for my fourth year at the university, I was introduced to a certain girl, a fellow student, I had never met before.
Now, I'm a very sociable and popular person (at least on campus😁) and my school isn't very large, so I figured that any person I didn't know at this point was simply not in my usual circles.
So, imagine my surprise when I start running into her everywhere.
On campus, in church, at the cafeteria, on the walkway to my classroom.
I'm pretty sure I never used to see her in those places.
I call this the "Noticing Spiral". It's a phenomenon where as soon as something gets called to your attention, you suddenly start taking note of it in such a large number that you wonder why you never noticed.
I've always wondered if the events I start to notice have always happened or if they began just as soon as they were pointed out to me.
Well, what do you think?
